Introduction

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (i.e. MHT CET 2014) is a great chance for students to take admissions into top B-schools in Maharashtra State for management courses offered in University Departments and unaided institutions in the state. The Directorate of Technical Education directs this MHCET 2014 for admission to administration programs such as MBA and few more. This Entrance Exam is recognized by over 80 institutions in the state of Maharashtra. The institutions which qualify for the admission procedure as per the rules are Allowed by AICTE, New Delhi.

Eligibility

  • A candidate should have passed with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline as recognised by the Association of Indian Universities.

    Candidates appearing for the final year of the qualifying examination can also apply.

  • Maharashtra State and OMS candidates who have appeared for the CAT / GMAT / CMAT 2014 / MAT (Feb 2014)/ XAT / ATMA / MH-CET 2014 are eligible for All India seats subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria. Such candidates are also required to fill and confirm online application form.

Examination

  • Max. Marks is 600 (200 marks each papers)
  • Time Duration is 3 hours
  • There are 1/4 negative marking
  • The question paper will be available in English, Marathi and Urdu Language.
  • There are Exam 11th Standard and 12th standard question will includes.
  • MHT CET 2014 Examination has 4 subjects – Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology

Application Procedure

1. The applicants should be having a valid e-mail id for applying online   at official website

2. The applicants should have a scanned image of their recent photograph of not exceeding 50 KB in the jpeg format to insert in the online application forms

3. The applicants can crop their image of photograph and signature if it is more than 50KB in MS Paint /Photo Editor for this purpose

4. The online challan forms can be downloaded from the website on an A4 size paper which includes all the details including registration number, name of the candidate, date of birth and registration on it.

5. The online application fee can be paid from any of the branches of the State Bank of India on payment of Rs800 + Rs60 (Bank Commission) for all the unreserved category of candidates

6. The candidates must enter the details of payment which includes the bank Journal Number in order to complete the online registration forms

7. The applicants are advised to retain a copy of password and registration number with them for using it in future correspondences
