Basic Eligibility

For admission to a bachelor’s degree, the candidate must have passed the higher secondary school certificate (10+2) examination with science subject such as biology, maths and chemistry. The duration of this course is 4 years.

The eligibility criteria for pursuing a master’s degree are holding a bachelor's degree with science subject such as biology, maths and chemistry. The duration of this course is 2-3 years.

Remuneration: -

The initial salary of physiotherapists in government hospitals ranges from around Rs. 10000 – 15000 per month. Whereas in private hospitals remuneration is good compared to government hospitals. In reputed private hospitals the initial income is around Rs. 17,000 which might go up to Rs. 20,000 every month. The payment for skilled private practitioners could be around Rs 20,000 - 40,000 every month. After gaining certain experience this field one can start his/her own clinic. In a day he/she can earn more than Rs.2000 by attending their patients.
